Tomorrow morning (Friday,) Ian and I are boarding a plane for Shreveport, Louisiana, for our appointment week!
Appointment week is our official hire date with "The Company," so it's a really exciting time for us.
We'll be in meetings, learning about how our stuff is going to be shipped to the Middle East and about what our two month training (in Virginia,) and our four month training (in Vancouver, Canada,) will look like.
We'll also be meeting the people who we will be spending the first six months of 2010 with.
Please pray for a great time of fellowship and encouragement. We are hoping to make some great friends this weekend, and look forward to building on relationships we already started last spring.
I'll try to post from the hotel, but we'll see if that is possible!
