Especially since "point and shoot," does not mean "finds the best angle and lighting."
Or even "photographer even gave it a minute of her time."
After all, I was decorating, and that's all that really mattered to me then!
My mom and I scope out the tree, making sure we have the best side facing forward.
The trees, that is. Not ours. Clearly.
Mom and Ian give their "cheese smiles," while Dad wishes there was a football game on.
Traditional "look I'm putting an ornament on the tree," pose.
Well done.
I clearly am so lazy that I decorate from a sitting position.
Bravo, Brittney, Bravo.
My dad, asking were our African church ornament is.
Oh, don't worry dad, it's there.
Wouldn't want our tree to be racist.
And, even though it is really my sis' year to do the angel topping, she's not here.
So I won.
Nah, nah, nah, nah, boo, boo.
The tree is just gorgeous! I love how it looks all lit up!

Soooo fun! That comment about wishing there was a football game on...I'm totally beginning to relate to that!
OH!! It looks wonderful!! The pictures are great! I am so happy you were all able to do it as a family!! :-)
You made me miss home times a million! This looks exactly like my tree growing up! My mom keeps all our ornaments until we "grow up" and get a place of our own. Even though I'm on my own, I want her to still have mine, theres nothing like going home for the holidays and seeing my ornaments mixed in with my four siblings! :) It makes me feel all excited for Christmas again!
Merry Christmas Brittney!
Hugs,
BrittAny :)
What a cute post!! Where was your sister this year? This sounds like something i would say... I have an older sissy. We always are "joking" together :)
Beautiful tree! Some of your captions for the pictures made me laugh out loud :-)
