We went to find out the baby's gender in May.
The kids guesses were as follows:
Grace- Boy
Sophia- Girl
Luke- Boy
Ian and I didn't know or have a guess, really.
This was the first time that I had a desire on the gender. I really wanted a girl as I was feeling all sentimental about the girls' things- if this wasn't a girl then all of there really sweet clothes and things would need to be cleaned out and passed on to someone else. I would be fine, either way, of course, but I had a preference.
We took all three kids with us into the ultrasound room. The tech seemed a little unsure how to proceed with such a crowded space. She also had a very insistent Luke to contend with (he could not be convinced that there was only one baby in there- he wanted twins!)
In the end, we found out the gender would be.....
A baby boy! We were so excited to finally know and braced ourselves for months (or years?) of people saying things like "Oh, two and two. Guess it's even." Yup. That's true.
